Boyd Coxen
Tai Chi Instructor, Owner
Boyd has found the fountain of youth after his triple bi-pass in 2001. "There's nothing more valuable than good health" according to Boyd. At 67 yrs. old now, he's in the best shape of his life. He regained his health by changing his eating habits, dropping 40 lbs. and joining the gym that he now owns.
Boyd had been a long time softball player, and golfer, but that wasn't enough to stave off the heart disease. "Making fitness fun is key" Boyd says, "and you're never too old to start."
In the last 3 yrs he's become a green belt in Kenpo Karate and currently teaches Tai Chi. Boyd also teaches the Intermediate spin class which consists of mainly seniors. "Just get in here and move your body. The camaraderie and friendship in these classes is irreplaceable." |
